Jessica Vanderlaan

Greetings! I’m Jessica Vanderlaan, an experienced doula and owner of Sparrow Doula Services, providing comprehensive perinatal services to the regions of Southern New-Brunswick and beyond. With virtual consultations available throughout Canada, I am committed to offering support wherever it is needed. Born in Sussex, I am the proud mother of two young boys, each pregnancy and birth bringing its own unique set of experiences.

With over a decade of experience in perinatal support I am deeply passionate about providing comprehensive education to my community. As a certified Labour & Birth and Postpartum Doula, as well as a Childbirth Educator, I offer a comprehensive range of expertise to support my clients.  I also play a pivotal role as a Babywearing Educator in overseeing the New Brunswick Babywearing Community. Furthermore, My certification with Stillbirthday allows me to offer invaluable support in fertility as well as infant and pregnancy loss. My services are currently offered exclusively in English.

When not facilitating prenatal classes or workshops, I enjoy crafting amigurumi plushies, exploring beaches for sea glass with her sons, or chasing hot air balloons!
