Greetings! I’m Lara, a Registered Nurse and Doula practicing in New Brunswick. As the owner of Beyond The Bump Education, located in Fredericton, I am dedicated to providing comprehensive perinatal support.

My journey with Beyond The Bump began in 2019 following the birth of my son, during which I encountered challenges in accessing adequate perinatal resources locally. Drawing upon my decade of nursing experience, my practice is rooted in advocacy and education, ensuring my clients receive the highest standard of care. I prioritize cultivating a safe and comfortable environment through the application of evidence-based and trauma-informed models of care.

Having had the privilege of supporting numerous births in both hospital and home settings, including planned C-sections and home births, I am committed to offering unwavering support regardless of birthing preferences. I also enjoy serving LGBTQ+, surrogate families, and newcomers.

My scope of services includes Birth, Postpartum, and Lactation support, catering to Southern New Brunswick: Fredericton, Saint John, and surrounding areas. 

Many of the services provided by Beyond The Bump may qualify for coverage under 'in-home nursing' personal insurance policies. I encourage you to review your policy for further details.

Currently, my services are offered exclusively in English.
